Who we are
The goal to start the company Single Estate Coffees was to establish a direct communication channel for green coffee origination for international customers, whether importers or roasters who want to source and acquire coffees from different regions and origins of this amazing diverse coffee geographic indications, always guaranteeing the traceability of the lots and their producing farm. And the most interesting is that to source an outstanding coffee, it could be a micro-producer of small family grower, or even large farms that also have traceability and geolocation of their lots. Our customers are be able to buy several microlots from distant regions within the same order, taking advantage of the schedule of shipments to the main destinations where our partners and business agents are based.
We have a point of contact with the importers/roasters in each of the 3 main markets that we operate: United States/Canada; European Union and Japan. As coffee hunters and brokers, Single Estate Coffees will be acting in different ways: as a business facilitator for small and medium-sized producers and also cooperatives that can export directly to our customers; and also as an exporter, supplier/shipper for those producers who are not interested in all the involvement with logistics, preparation of the coffees according to the export standards, the bureaucratic documentation, hedging options (coffee prices and exchange rate protection), and of course, direct financing to importers and roasters, whom also extend terms to their end customers. Hedging and financing are subject of credit analysis but has always been an important factor in the purchase decision for traditional green coffee markets.
Our purpose as a company is to offer the best cost benefit for our customers according to their demand and final application. Starting with nice regional coffees, according to the list below, going up to the unique coffees, awarded in the best contests, such as producers participating in the COE – Cup of Excellence of Brazil, promoted by the BSCA (Brazilian Specialty Coffee Association).

Single Estate Coffees has can take any batch from Brazil to do this process and bring it back to Brazil for Brazilian roasters or to re-export from the Port of Buenaventura, Colombia to the country of destination.
